Instructions
Step 1: Preheat and Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
Step 2: Make the Cookie Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Step 3: Shape the Cookies
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
Roll each ball in granulated sugar to coat.
Step 4: Bake the Cookies
Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set, and the cookies are puffed.
Step 5: Add the Chocolate Kisses
Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
