This Crustless Broccoli Cheddar Quiche is a healthy and delicious way to enjoy breakfast or brunch! Light, fluffy, and packed with flavor!
Ingredients
2 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the dish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche dish with olive oil.
Steam the chopped broccoli florets for about 4-5 minutes, or until slightly tender. Drain and set aside to cool. - In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
- Spread the steamed broccoli evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the quiche.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden brown.
- Let the quiche cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
